Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. About Us

eHybrid is the trading name of EHYBRID LTD, registered in England and Wales.

Registered Office:
210C Peel House, 34–44 London Road, Morden, SM4 5BT, United Kingdom

In these terms, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to EHYBRID LTD. “you” refers to the customer purchasing goods from us.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

2. Orders and Contract

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods.
A contract is formed when we accept and dispatch your order.

All orders are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order prior to dispatch.

3. High-Value and Vehicle-Specific Parts

Certain products (including electrical components, ECUs, hybrid parts, and VIN-specific items):

  • May be non-cancellable once processed
  • May be non-returnable unless faulty
  • May require vehicle verification (e.g. VIN)

4. Product Sourcing

We supply genuine parts via the Toyota UK network.

Availability depends on supplier stock.
If unavailable or on back order, we will notify you within 2 working days and offer:

  • Wait
  • Alternative
  • Full refund

5. Prices and Payment

All prices include VAT where applicable.
Payment must be made before dispatch.

We may cancel orders where pricing errors or fraud concerns arise.

6. Delivery

  • UK delivery typically 1–2 working days (not guaranteed)
  • Delays may occur outside our control

Risk passes when goods are delivered to you.

High-value items may require a signature.
Report damage within 48 hours.

7. Consumer Cancellation Rights

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:

  • 14 days to cancel
  • 14 days to return

Refund includes standard delivery cost.

We may reduce refunds for excessive handling.

Return postage is your responsibility unless goods are faulty.

8. Returns Conditions

Returned goods must:

  • Be unused and not installed
  • Be in original condition and packaging

We may reduce refunds if:

  • Items show signs of use or fitting
  • Packaging is damaged
  • Seals are broken

9. Faulty Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • 30 days: full refund
  • After: repair or replacement

We may inspect or test items.

10. Diagnostic Responsibility

You are responsible for correct fault diagnosis.

We are not liable where:

  • Parts are purchased due to misdiagnosis
  • Parts are found to be working

11. Professional Installation

Parts should be installed by qualified professionals.

We may refuse claims where:

  • Improper installation occurred
  • No proof of professional fitting is provided

12. Compatibility

You are responsible for ensuring compatibility.

We recommend providing:

  • Registration number
  • VIN

Orders placed without verification are at your own risk.

13. Core Exchange (Where Applicable)

Some items include a refundable surcharge.

Core must be:

  • Returned within 14 days
  • Complete and undamaged

We may reject or reduce refunds for damaged cores.

14. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Labour costs
  • Vehicle damage from incorrect installation
  • Loss of use or income

Nothing excludes rights under consumer law or liability for negligence.

15. International Orders

Customers are responsible for:

  • Import duties
  • Taxes

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Returns & Refunds

Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:

  • Return within 14 days
  • Notify within 14 days

Conditions

Items must:

  • Be unused and not installed
  • Be in original packaging

Refunds may be reduced if items show signs of use.

Non-Returnable Items

Unless faulty:

  • Special-order or VIN-specific parts
  • Electrical components once installed
  • Opened or tampered sealed items

Faulty Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • 30 days: full refund
  • After: repair or replacement

Return Costs

  • You pay for returns (non-faulty)
  • We cover faulty/incorrect items

Warranty Policy

We supply parts with manufacturer warranties where applicable.

Covered

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Material faults

Not Covered

  • Incorrect installation
  • Misdiagnosis
  • Wear and tear
  • Modified vehicles
  • External faults

Conditions

  • Professional installation recommended
  • Proof may be required
  • Items may be tested

Limitations

Warranty covers part only.

We do not cover:

  • Labour
  • Recovery costs
  • Loss of use

12V Battery Warranty (12-Month Limited Warranty)

We supply selected 12V batteries with a 12-month supplier warranty from the date of purchase.

Warranty Requirements

Any warranty claim for a 12V battery must include:

  • The original warranty certificate supplied with the product
  • A full professional diagnostic report confirming the fault
  • Proof of installation by a qualified technician (where applicable)

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty claims may be rejected where:

  • The battery has not been maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • The vehicle has been used infrequently or for short journeys only
  • The vehicle has covered less than approximately 3,600 miles per year (or 300 miles per month average use)
  • The battery has been subject to deep discharge, neglect, or external charging system faults

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover issues caused by vehicle usage patterns, charging system faults, or poor maintenance.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Water Pump Warranty Conditions

Water pump warranty is subject to strict usage and installation conditions due to the nature of the component.

Warranty Limitation

Warranty will only apply where:

  • The vehicle mileage is below 10,000 miles at the time of installation or failure claim
  • The pump has been installed by a qualified professional
  • The cooling system has been correctly flushed and maintained

Mileage Verification

Vehicle mileage may be verified using available service history and official records, including the MOT database and service documentation where applicable.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty will be void where failure is caused by:

  • Contaminated or unmaintained cooling systems
  • Incorrect installation
  • Overheating caused by external engine faults
  • Vehicles exceeding the mileage threshold stated above

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not include labour, recovery, or consequential costs.

Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
